
Boogaard Bobbleheads coming to Houston January 14

HOUSTON, Texas â The Houston Aeros will honor 6-foot-7, 270-pound winger Derek Boogaard with his own bobblehead on Friday, Jan. 14, the team announced today. The Aeros will give away bobbleheads to the first 3,000 fans.
Boogaard, a Regina, Sask., native, became a fan favorite in his 2003-04 rookie season with the Aeros, compiling four assists and 207 penalty minutes.
The Boogaard Bobblehead follows the Aeros' Santa Bobblehead, which will be given away Saturday, Dec. 18. Houston's Teddy Bear Toss is also December 18.
The third Aeros Bobblehead is set for a Friday, April 15 giveaway. The subject will be announced at a later date.
The Aeros are offering special Bobblehead ticket packages that include discounted tickets for each of the team's three Bobblehead games.
