
Bombers Extend Ian Logan

WINNIPEG, MB - The Blue Bombers have extended the contract of safety Ian Logan.
As per team policy, details of the agreement are not disclosed.
Logan (5'9, 190, Wilfrid Laurier '05, DOB: Aug.19, 1982 in Waterloo, ON) was originally signed by the Blue Bombers as a free agent on January 16, 2006.
Last season, Logan won the starting spot at safety after week seven. He then went on to start the next 11 regular season games he dressed for, as well as the East semi-final versus Edmonton. He finished the campaign with 38 defensive tackles, 19 special teams tackles, two sacks, and a tackle for loss.
"We're very pleased to extend the contract of a solid Canadian safety like Ian Logan," said head coach Mike Kelly.
Over his career Logan has played 47 regular season games in the CFL, all with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
