Bombardier Back with Bears

Knoxville Ice Bears News Release

Knoxville, TENN. - The Knoxville Ice Bears and Jeff Carr announced Friday the re-signing of forward Lucas Bombardier for the 2018-2019 season.

Bombardier, from Pittsford, VT, began his professional career with the Ice Bears, in February 2018, and scored his first point in his debut. In 18 games, Lucas put up 8 points, including an unassisted game-winner in the third period vs. the Macon Mayhem (02/24/18).

"Lucas is so clutch," Carr said. "He was kind of our 'Swiss Army knife' guy - he did a little bit of everything for us, last season. I expect him to play multiple roles, again, this year."

Bombardier still has fewer than 20 professional games under his belt, but he is still a big part of Coach Carr's pre-season preparations. The Ice Bears roster is filling up with multi-purpose skaters, and Bombardier is no exception. Training Camp week is likely to create an incredibly competitive atmosphere.
