Bismarck Bobcats News Release

FRISCO, TX - The Bismarck Bobcats unveiled their 2018-19 schedule Monday, including dates and locations for all 60 regular season games for their 22nd season of hockey in Bismarck/Mandan.

The Bobcats' home opener will be later than usual: the Cats' first home game of 2018-19 will be October 5 and-for the first time ever-be against the archrival Minot Minotauros at the VFW Sports Center.

2018-19 will see a division-centric schedule, with the Bobcats playing in 56 games against Central Division competition after just 48 such contests in 2017-18.

"Playing a large number of games in-division is going to be a big benefit for our guys," noted Bobcats head coach and general manager Layne Sedevie, who is entering his ninth season as the Cats' bench boss. "The Central Division has been so good for so long that every night is going to be a test and it's going to force our players to be at their best night in and night out."
