Blue Bombers Partner with Beam Suntory in Support of Winnipeg Harvest

WINNIPEG, MB. - The Winnipeg Blue Bombers, in partnership with Beam Suntory, are proud to launch a new initiative during November and December 2020 in support of Winnipeg Harvest.
Starting November 1, 2020, $1 from every bottle of Jim Beam White 750 mL, Canadian Club 1140 mL, Sauza Gold Tequila 750 mL, and Banff Ice Summit Vodka 750 mL sold at Liquor Mart locations across the province will be donated to Winnipeg Harvest, up to a maximum of $10,000.
"Beam Suntory is proud to support Winnipeg Harvest through Bomber fans and the community purchasing our brands in Manitoba," said Beam Suntory's Regional Manager for Manitoba & Saskatchewan, Greg Ollson.
"This has been a difficult year for everyone, particularly for those relying on Winnipeg Harvest for food," said Winnipeg Blue Bombers President & CEO, Wade Miller. "Which is why we're thrilled to be able to partner with Beam Suntory to continue to help Winnipeg Harvest through the unwavering generosity and support of our fans."
The program is in addition to $10,000 the team has been able to donate to Winnipeg Harvest through the sale of t-shirts and masks. This donation was made possible by the continued support of the team's passionate fans.
"In a normal month, 70,000 people rely on Winnipeg Harvest for food assistance all across Manitoba," said Keren Taylor-Hughes, CEO, Winnipeg Harvest. "We are grateful for community partners like Beam Suntory and the Winnipeg Blue Bombers for their commitment to Harvest, and leadership in nourishing our community through their generosity."
