Blizzard Sign WR Quintin Vinzant

February 6, 2020 - Indoor Football League (IFL)
Green Bay Blizzard News Release

Slot receiver Quintin Vinzant, whose collegiate football career took him all the way to Mexico, has signed with the Green Bay Blizzard.

After playing football and excelling in track at Southwestern College in California, the Texas native learned he had only one year of eligibility remaining, this drove away potential NCAA Division I programs. Vinzant was then able to sharpen his skills at Cetys University in Tijuana, Mexico.

Vinzant, 5'11" and 175 pounds, ran a blistering 4.37 40-yard dash at a pro day, and previously recorded a 10.49 100-meter dash while at Southwestern.

In a scouting report, NFLDraftDiamonds.com called Vinzant a "rocket smooth route runner and returner with hands like glue."

"Speed kills in football, and Quintin is a very fast young man," said Roberson. "We showed last year that we feature wide receivers quite well, and Quintin adds some real explosiveness to that position for us."
