KAMLOOPS, BC - Blazer alumni all-stars have confirmed their attendance at the Blazers Memorial Cup Anniversary presented by Tourism Kamloops, February 21 & 22, 2020. The who's who of hockey are coming to Kamloops to celebrate Kamloops Blazers history. 25 years marks the Kamloops Blazer's last Memorial Cup win in 1995, winning three times in a span of four years. Including the three other championship teams in '84, '86 and '90, it makes the Kamloops Blazers the most winningest team ever in the WHL.

"62 players, trainers, coaches and management are confirmed so far," says Blazer Advisor Committee Chair Norm Daley. "There will be old stories told and new memories made. The list of returning Blazer alumni include Jarome Iginla, Don Hay, Bob Brown, Shane Doan, Scott Niedermayer, Ken Hitchcock, Tom Renney, Rob Brown, Greg Evtushevski to name a few." (A complete list follows).

The weekend kicks off with Gord Bamford's #REDNEK Music Fest featuring Platinum-selling JUNO Award winner Jess Moskaluke, JoJo Mason, Eric Ethridge, Andrew Hyatt, Cory Marks, Duane Steele, and GhostBoy. An Up Close and Personal pre-show hot stove with Rob Brown, Shane Doan and others will start the show at 7:45pm, February 21. Tickets are still available at but are selling fast with tickets starting at just $39.50.

"There will be a weekend of events where fans can meet Gord Bamford and mingle with Blazer Alumni," says Daley. "We've also created a VIP Experience for the hockey and music lovers before Gord Bamford's concert Friday night, where VIP guests can attend a private concert on the floor of Sandman Centre with Gord Bamford and Jess Moskaluke. Blazer alumni will participate in a hot-stove experience unlike any other. Food and beverages will also be served. VIP Experience packages are available through the Kamloops Blazer's office or by contacting Jim or Stacy at 250-828-1144."

Blazer fans won't be disappointed however if the VIP Experience isn't what they are looking for. Fans can meet Blazer alumni Saturday February 22, from 3-5pm at Sandman Centre. Fans can also bring their camera and have their photo with the Memorial Cup and Digger at this free public event.

Also, there are still a few tickets available for the Saturday night game against the Calgary Hitmen. Gord Bamford will sing the national anthem and there will be an exciting ceremony honoring Canada's military and Blazer alumni before the puck drops.
