Blades Roster Down to 32 Players

September 15, 2021 - Western Hockey League (WHL) - Saskatoon Blades News Release

SASKATOON, SK - The Saskatoon Blades cut the active roster down to 32 players on Wednesday, two days before the team opens pre-season play against the Edmonton Oil Kings.

The roster now consists of 19 forwards, 10 defencemen, and three goaltenders.

Of the 32 players, five are presently not with the team, including three NHL camp attendees and two import forwards. Colton Dach (Chicago Blackhawks), Tristen Robins (San Jose Sharks) and Rhett Rhinehart (Colorado Avalanche) are skating south of the border. European players Moritz Elias and Yegor Sidorov are expected to join the team early next week.

2021-22 season ticket memberships are now on sale for as low as $17 per game for adults, and $5 for children. Single-game tickets are also now on sale, and can be found HERE for purchase.
