Black Bears' Season Opener Moved to October 11-12 at Ice World
The Maryland Black Bears will be playing their season opener against the Johnstown Tomahawks at a different location and on different dates than what Black Bear Nation has become accustomed to. Due to Anne Arundel County not advancing to Phase 3, unlike most other counties in Maryland, Piney Orchard cannot host teams from outside the state of Maryland. Luckily, we have a home away from home. We will be playing our first two games of the season at Ice World, located in Abingdon, MD on Sunday at 7pm and on Monday at 11:30am. There are a very limited number of seats available, and the first ones available will go to season ticket holders. If there are more available, we will notify our fans through the website and social media. If you would like to watch but cannot attend, all of our games are streamed on HockeyTV.
