Today's Game
Tonight, the Bisons host the Columbus Clippers in the third game of a four-game series from Coca-Cola Field (7:05 p.m.). The Bisons evened up the series in last night's 4-1 win. The Herd will finish up their series tomorrow in a Thursday matinee game (1:05 p.m.) before leaving for an eight-game roadtrip to Toledo and Columbus on Friday.
vs. the Clippers
The Bisons are 1-1 against the Clippers this season. With a win tonight the Herd can assure themselves a series split with Columbus. The last time the Bisons lost a home series to the Clippers was in 2011 when Buffalo was swept in four games and were outscored 32-15.
Thad Weber
RHP THAD WEBER will make his ninth start of the season tonight. In his last start for the Herd on July 18 against Toledo, Weber allowed three earned runs over five innings on six hits and four walks in a 4-2 loss. It was the first time in his last six starts Weber did not throw at least six innings of work.
Mauro hits them Far-O
INF MAURO GOMEZ hit is International League leading 27th home run last night against Columbus. Gomez is now tied for second in the entire MiLB, only one behind Hickory's Ryan Rua (28). His 27 home runs is tied for 8th most by a Bisons player in a single season in the modern era (OF Ernie Young, 2004). OF Alex Ramirez holds the team record with 34 blasts during the 1998 season.

The Bisons have seven players on pace to play 100+ games this year. INF MAURO GOMEZ leads the Herd with 88 games played. The last time the Bisons had seven players play 100 games in one season was 1997, led by OF Bruce Aven's 121 contest.
Bison Bits
Since July 9, the Bisons bullpen has worked 42.1 innings and posted a 1.91 ERA. Bisons relievers have combined for 49 strikeouts over that span and have yielded just 30 hits...OF MOISES SIERRA had three hits last night for his 20th multi-hit game of the season -2nd most on the Bisons...INF MUNENORI KAWASAKI has a .455 on-base pct., having reached base 15 times in his first 10 games with Buffalo...INF MAURO GOMEZ is riding a 10-game hit streak since July 10 (.316, 12-38)
Blue Jays Update
The Blue Jays (45-54) fell short in a 9th inning comeback and lost to the Dodgers last night, 10-9. Former Bisons RHP TODD REDMOND threw 5.2 IP and allowed only three runs on seven hits with six strikeouts. Toronto will close out their series tonight with the Dodgers at 7:07 p.m.
