Montgomery Biscuits News Release
MONTGOMERY - The Montgomery Biscuits will hold their sixth annual Job Fair on Saturday, February 7th, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium.
The organization will hire in the areas of retail staff, food service, promotions, ticket operations, janitorial services, wait staff and guest services in preparation for the upcoming season. Front office staff members will be on site to conduct interviews.
"Our fans love the positively outrageous customer service they receive at Riverwalk Stadium," said Biscuits Co-Owner Sherrie Myers. "We're looking for individuals who enjoy being passionate about their job and want to feel a purpose and contribution that gets noticed both at their job and as part of this community."
Available positions may be viewed by clicking the "jobs" link at www.biscuitsbaseball.com. Employees will be asked to work the entirety of the 70-game home schedule. During the majority of the Biscuits' home games, close to 200 employees staff the stadium.
"It's the people of Montgomery and the surrounding region that have made Riverwalk Stadium the best atmosphere in the Southern League," said Biscuits President and General Manager Greg Rauch. "From the suites to the concession stands to the box office, we are proud to uphold a standard of excellence."
Over one-third of all Biscuits employees work in the area of food service, an area of pride for Biscuits management.
"We are looking for the best possible employees for our food service operation," said Director of Food Service Jason Wilson. "We take great pride in all of our catering venues, supplying Riverwalk Stadium with the quality and output of four diverse restaurants at any home game."
Applicants must be at least 16 years old to apply. Employees are paid hourly or by the game, depending on the position. Montgomery Biscuits are an EOE.
