Barrie Colts Beat Kitchener Rangers 5-4 in Comeback Shootout Win

The Barrie Colts beat the Kitchener Rangers 5-4 in a shootout Saturday after erasing a two-goal deficit with a minute left in the game.
Down 4-2 and the goalie pulled, Colts Ryan Del Monte scored his first of the preseason at the 19-minute mark, cutting the lead to just one. Hunter Haight scored his first of the preseason 29 seconds later to tie it at 4 a piece.
With no overtime in the preseason, the two teams went straight to the shootout. Anthony Tabak and Ryan Del Monte both scored in the shootout to complete the Colts comeback.
Nathan Allensen and Vladislav Dvurechenskii also scored in the Colts win.
The Colts travel to London on Friday for their first of two pre-season games against the Knights.
Their next home game is again against the Knights on Sept. 30. Game time is 7:30 p.m.
