Bandits Sign Potter, Shanahan to One-Year Deals

BUFFALO, N.Y. - The Buffalo Bandits today announced the team has signed forward Andrew Potter and goaltender Devlin Shanahan to one-year deals.
Potter (5'11", 185 lbs., 6/19/1988) has played parts of three NLL seasons (2008 to 2010) with the Colorado Mammoth and the Rochester Knighthawks. He totaled two points (2+0) and recovered 18 loose balls in five career games. A native of St. Catharines, Ontario, Potter was selected in the first round (14th overall) by the Knighthawks in the 2007 NLL Entry Draft.
Shanahan (6'0", 177 lbs., 2/10/1999) spent the entirety of the 2018-19 season on the Bandits practice squad after being selected by the team in the fourth round (43rd overall) of the 2018 NLL Entry Draft. Prior to his professional career, he spent four seasons (2015 to 2019) with the Mimico Mountaineers of the OJALL, posting a 12-6 record with a 7.53 goals-against average and a .639 save percentage.
