Bandits Sign Harnett to One-Year Deal

BUFFALO, N.Y. - The Buffalo Bandits today announced the team has signed defenseman Jon Harnett to a one-year deal, pending league approval.

The 2019-20 season will mark Harnett's 13th year in the NLL and second with the Bandits. Harnett (6'1", 185 lbs., 5/28/1988) tallied two assists in eight regular-season games with the Bandits last season and made one playoff appearance with the team. He joined the Bandits after signing as a free agent on Nov. 28, 2018.

Prior to coming to Buffalo, Harnett spent time with the Boston Blazers (2009 to 2010), Calgary Roughnecks (2011 to 2017) and Vancouver Stealth (2017 to 2018). In 150 career games, Harnett has totaled 75 points (10+65) and recovered 552 loose balls. In addition, the Orangeville, Ontario native has recorded six points (2+4) and picked up 80 loose balls in 22 playoff games.
