Bandits Announce Winter Skills Clinic, December 15

December 1, 2012 - National Pro Fastpitch (NPF) - Chicago Bandits News Release

Running from 1:30 p.m. until 3 p.m. the Winter Skills Clinic will cover focus on hitting, fielding and base running as well as catching, throwing and multiple position specific skills.

Current Bandits players, Jenna Grim and Alisa Goler, will be the clinic instructors for the session. Grim, a graduate of Loyola University, is a catcher for the Bandits and is currently serving as a Volunteer Assistant Coach at Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill.

A graduate of the University of Georgia, Goler made a name for herself in the NPF, winning the 2011 NPF Rookie of the Year as well as becoming an All-NPF Selection.

Grim and Goler will also be joined by former Bandits great Laura Harms, who spent six years in the NPF before retiring following the 2009 season. A graduate of Bradley University, she is currently the head coach of the Team Oak Stars 18U Gold Team.

The clinic will be split into two groups, beginning and advanced skills. The cost of each clinic is $50.
