DAVENPORT, IA - Burke Badenhop threw his third complete game of the season as the Whitecaps exploded for four runs in their final at bat in a 5-1 win at Quad Cities in game one of a double header. The victory stops a two game slide for West Michigan.

Mark Haske was the offensive hero for the Whitecaps. We walked to lead off the third inning, moved to third on two wild pitches and scored on an RBI single by Cameron Maybin. The hit broke a scoreless tie.

C. J. Smith had one of the three hits in the game off Badenhop with an opposite field home run to right in the fifth. The blast tied the score, 1-1.

But after Badenhop escaped a bases loaded, one out jam in the bottom of the sixth, Haske put the Whitecaps in front for good with an RBI. Mike Hollimon drove a one out triple to left and scored on Haske's hit.

Cory Middleton added a two run double and Maybin capped the rally with another RBI single.

Adam Daniels took the loss for the Swing, but pitched his first complete game of the season.
