Austin, Texas (Jan. 12, 2018) The Austin Spurs, presented by SWBC, will raise awareness for breast health issues with Pink Night sponsored by Texas Oncology and benefitting Susan G. Komen Austin on Saturday, Jan. 20 as Austin takes on the Grand Rapids Drive at the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. The first 500 fans in the building for the game will receive pink wristbands to commemorate the night.
Texas Oncology will provide complimentary tickets to the game for survivors and their families, and the Austin Spurs will wear special pink commemorative jerseys during the game. The signed, game-worn jerseys will be auctioned off online during the game. Fans will have the opportunity to cast their bids through the end of the third quarter on Jan. 20 with proceeds benefitting Komen Austin. Additional auction details will be available at AustinSpurs.com starting next week. Additionally, Great Clips will provide complimentary haircuts during the game and will contribute 100 percent of all tips collected to Komen Austin.
Fans are encouraged to wear pink attire to the game vs. Grand Rapids to support the campaign. The Austin Spurs matchup against the Drive will stream live on Twitch.
