Austin Bruins to Host Annual Military Appreciation Night on Veteran's Day

October 30, 2017 - North American Hockey League (NAHL) - Austin Bruins News Release

The Austin Bruins will host their annual *Military Appreciation Night, presented by ABC6 News* on Veteran's Day - Saturday, November 11th against the Coulee Region Chill at Riverside Arena at 7:05 PM.

All military personnel - past and present - will receive free admission at the door, with military I.D.. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots of Freeborn-Mower County will be collecting toy donations in the lobby. There will also be a color guard presentation from VFW Olaf B. Damm Post 1216 and a ceremonial puck drop.

Following the game will be a live auction of the game-worn red, white, and blue camouflage jerseys that the Bruins will wear during the game. All proceeds will benefit local military charities through the Austin Bruins Foundation.

General admission tickets can be pre-purchased at the following Austin locations: Hy-Vee, Jim's Marketplace, Games People Play, and the Holiday Inn. Fans save $4 off the door price when visiting ticket vendors.
