Attack & Law Enforcement Torch Run Team up to Raise Funds & Awareness for Special Olympics Ontario

The Owen Sound Attack and Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR), Special Olympics Ontario are teaming up to raise awareness about the importance of grass-root programming at this Saturday's game against the Kingston Frontenacs at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre.
Saturdays game will feature a LETR/Special Olympics run kiosk so fans can learn more about Special Olympics Ontario, public address announcements about Special Olympics Ontario, a ceremonial puck drop and a bucket pass.
The awareness campaign is part of the ongoing commitment by the Ontario Hockey League, Owen Sound Attack and LETR/Special Olympics Ontario to raise awareness and funds for Special Olympics Ontario. From November 1, 2019 to November 30, 2019 an online 50/50 is taking place with all funds directed to Special Olympics Ontario. The winning ticket will be drawn at the Ontario Hockey League office on Monday, December 2, 2019 at 11:00 AM. For more information visit specialolympics5050.com.
"The excitement and athleticism of OHL and Owen Sound Attack inspire our Special Olympics athletes to train and compete locally, provincially and nationally" said Andrew Howlett, Coordinator Special Olympics Owen Sound. "LETR, the OHL and Attack are a huge part of our fundraising effort which supports two hundred Special Olympics athletes from Grey and Bruce counties in fourteen sports."
