Atlanta Dream Announce Three 2019 Preseason Games

ATLANTA - The Atlanta Dream will suit up for three preseason games ahead of the 2019 regular season, it was announced Thursday.

Atlanta will tip-off the preseason schedule with a trip to Connecticut for a pair of games at Mohegan Sun Arena on May 13 and 14. The Dream will open the two-game set with a meeting against Dallas Wings on Monday, May 13 (5 p.m.) before facing New York Liberty on Tuesday, May 14 (5 p.m.).

The Dream will host its first preseason game in Georgia outside of Atlanta in franchise history when the team hosts the Washington Mystics at the Albany Civic Center in Albany, Ga., on Friday, May 17 (7 p.m.). This will be the first meeting between the two teams since they faced off in the last season's WNBA Semifinals, which the Mystics won in a deciding fifth game.

Tickets will go on sale Friday, March 8 at 10 a.m. Tickets can be purchased online via, over the phone by calling 1 800-653-8000, or in person at the Albany Civic Center Box Office.

The Civic Center, which can hold 8,436 fans for a basketball game, was host to the SEC Women's Basketball Tournament from 1987-1992.

The 2019 season will get underway Friday, May 24 when the Dream host the Dallas Wings at State Farm Arena beginning at 7:30 p.m.

The Dream have all its core pieces returning from its franchise-best 23-win season, including multi-year contracts with guard Hayes and center Elizabeth Williams.
