Argos Alden Darby Donates 100 Turkeys to Help Support Those in Need During Thanksgiving
TORONTO - Toronto Argonauts DB Alden Darby and his partner Annabelle Hayes will be donating 100 turkeys to help support those in need this Thanksgiving. 50 turkeys will be delivered to the Toronto Council Fire Native Cultural Centre tomorrow Friday, October 9, where Alden and Annabelle will be on site to help with the delivery. The remaining 50 turkeys will be donated to various organizations still in need in Toronto.
"Giving back to our local community is something that means a lot to Annabelle and myself," said Darby, a Californian who resides in Toronto during the offseason. "So many people are going through tough times right now and we feel it's only right to help any way that we can."
