Annual Children’s Holiday Party on Saturday

SCHAUMBURG, IL- With the Thanksgiving weekend in the books, the holiday season is now in full swing. As always, the Schaumburg Flyers will be part of the activity mix as the team holds its 6th Annual Children’s Holiday Party on Saturday, December 11 at Alexian Field. The party will take place from 10 AM-Noon at 1999 Springinsguth Road, Schaumburg. Admission is free for all ages.

Team mascot Bearon and Santa Claus will greet youngsters in the stadium main lobby throughout the two-hour party. It’s also a great day to check dates on the 2005 schedule as the Ticket Office will be open during the Holiday Party for single game ticket sales. Fans can also inquire about 2005 group outings and full and partial season ticket plans. Flyers tickets make great holiday gifts for family and co-workers and The Hangar Gift Shop will be open in the main lobby for more holiday shopping.

TIME RUNNING OUT ON KIDS HOLIDAY DRAWING CONTEST

There’s another kids program in full swing at flyersbaseball.com. Time is running out for children 12 and under to submit their entries for the Holiday Card Drawing contest. The contest winner will have their work displayed on the team’s holiday greeting card and receive other prizes. Second and third place finishers will also be recognized. Entries are due at the team’s Alexian Field offices by 5 PM on Friday, December 3.
