Anderson Gladiators Officially Joins Supreme Indoor Football League

November 5, 2016 - Supreme Indoor Football (SIF) News Release


Fayetteville NC- In a statement made today by the SIF front office, David Kross along with former NFLers Rod Gardner and Frank Walker announced that they have officially joined the Supreme Indoor Football League for the upcoming 2017 season. The team, known as the Gladiators, will be based out of Anderson, South Carolina. Anderson, South Carolina, is located approximately ten minutes from the campus of Clemson University, widely known in the collegiate ranks as a top athletics institution. The team will play their games at the 5,100 seats capacity Anderson Civic Center."We are happy to have this opportunity to set precedence in our industry, we are excited about the Supreme Indoor Football League in bringing a professional indoor football team to Anderson, South Carolina and the Tri-Cities Area," stated Gladiator Co-Owner, and former Clemson Tiger and first-round pick of the Washington Redskins Rod Gardner. "We hope to make this a very good experience for the team and the community. When you are ingrained in this area like I have been as a former All-American at Clemson, you learn your surroundings, and Anderson became like home to me. It feels good to be able to come back and give back to an area that has meant so much to me over the years." We welcome the Anderson Gladiators to the SIF.
