Libor Pivko recorded the first five-point performance in a Calder Cup Playoff game since 2001, leading Milwaukee to a 5-3 win over Chicago last night and a 2-0 series lead heading into Game 3 at the Allstate Arena this evening (7:00 CT)... Pivko scored three times and added two assists, matching his point total from his previous eight outings this postseason... Mathieu Darche and Vern Fiddler also scored and Wyatt Smith added three assists for the Admirals, while Wade Flaherty stopped 37 shots... The clubs combined for 197 minutes in penalties, including 163 in the final 11 seconds of the game... Chicago is already one of 14 teams to win a best-of-seven series after trailing 0-2, rallying past Syracuse in 2002.

Jeff Carter scored 15:20 into overtime last night to give Philadelphia a key 3-2 win over Wilkes-Barre/Scranton in Game 2 of the East Division final... Game 3 is tonight (7:05 ET) at the Wachovia Arena at Casey Plaza in Wilkes-Barre... Carter's goal, his third in eight games since making his pro debut last month, came on a power play with Shane Endicott in the box for holding... The Penguins had taken an early lead on goals by Endicott and Michel Ouellet... Sebastien Caron extended his shutout streak against Philadelphia to 182:43 before defensemen John Slaney and Dennis Seidenberg answered for the Phantoms in the second period... It was Wilkes-Barre's sixth overtime game out of nine played this postseason.

Rochester takes a 2-0 series lead over Hamilton back home for Game 3 at the Blue Cross Arena tonight (7:35 ET)... The Amerks' Domenic Pittis has risen to fifth place on the AHL's all-time list with 55 career playoff assists, including three on Thursday night... Rochester has won its last five games by a combined score of 23-9... The Bulldogs were 3-0 on the road during the first round against Cleveland... Tomas Plekanec has Hamilton's only goal of this series, a shorthanded marker late in Game 2... The Amerks are 5-1 all-time in home postseason games against Hamilton.
