December 20, 2018 - American Arena League (AAL) News Release

The AAL has announced a partnership with QB54; a product of Team Silva. Enterprises. QB54 is an outdoor football game that provides the total fan experience for tailgating, family BBQ/s, camping, beach or lake activities or for just plain hanging out in the backyard. QB54 is the "Official Tailgate Game of the AAL". "The AAL was looking to enhance our fan experience by adding Game Day activities. The QB54 has been taking universities by storm during tailgating activities and as part of in-game activities" stated Tony Zefiretto, AAL CEO.

Michael Silva shared, "There are no words to describe the level of excitement we have for this partnership. The AAL is an incredible organization and the fans that support the AAL are tremendous. We are honored to be a part of the AAL family and culture. We cannot wait to get our game out there to the AAL fans so they can enjoy it as much as we do. We welcome all of you to the QB54 Nation with open arms. AAL tailgates will never be the same!"

The concept of QB54 was created by brothers Michael and Frank Silva. Ever since they can remember, the brothers created their own games to entertain themselves. QB54 actually started out when they were 9 and 12 years old while using 2 garbage cans. They initially called it, "The QB Thanksgiving Classic". During Thanksgiving, while their friends left to go visit family, Michael and Frank were watching football on TV. As with most kids, they became bored and were itching to play football. Their solution to play football with two people? Ah garbage cans!!! Their parents thought we were crazy but they considered themselves, "Kid Geniuses". They set up the trash cans and started throwing, and throwing and throwing in attempt to get their football to fall into the garbage can. Those trashcans later turned into five gallon buckets which evolved into today's manufactured product. The brothers are now in their mid 40's and there still throwing.
