Worcester's 2.69 goals per game ranks last in the ECHL, but in their last six games, the Railers have bumped their offense up to 3.16 goals per game, including scoring four or more goals three times. The offense will be put to the test against a Monarchs defense ranking 5th in the league allowing 2.85 goals per game.
THIRD PERIOD MAGIC
The Monarchs have scored 71 third period goals this season, while outscoring opponents by 29 in the final frame. Only the Fort Wayne Komets have scored more third period goals (94) and have outscored opponents by more in the third period (42). Worcester struggles in the final 20 minutes, being outscored by opponents by eight goals.
MAN ADVANTAGE?
