Results: Week 2- 4/15~ 4/17
Game 1: Battle Creek Knights 143 win over Grand Rapids Flight 130. Tonight's action played in front of a home crowd of 650. The Flight played strong in this super charged scoring game, with over 8 of their players in Double Digits. Battle Creek was led by their high scoring trio, Jamal Goodings with 24 and Bobby Madison who finished with 26 points. Mike Williams helped Battle Creek cruise to their second win with his 19 points.
Game 2: Dayton Jets 167 win big over Vancouver Volcanoes 94. In front of a very excited home crowd the Dayton Jets rolled to their first victory. Opening the season with a big win at home, the Jets look like a very strong team in the IBL. The Vancouver Volcanoes play another big game on the road tomorrow against the Youngstown Wildcats.
Game 3: Detroit Pro's 123 win over Macomb County Mustangs 97. Detroit Pro's high scoring offense was led by Mike Mancab with 22 points, 5 players in double digits gave Detroit their second victory. The Mustangs are playing very good Basketball; they are feeling very confident going into tomorrow's game against the Grand Rapids Team.
Game 4: Des Moines 124 win over the Windy City Dawgs 106. In front of another big home crowd of 600, the Heat roll to their second win, giving them an undefeated record. Des Moines was led by Terrence McGee's 22 points; the Heat had 7 players in Double Figures. Windy City played a very strong game on the road, they are set for another away game tomorrow against the Waterloo Kings. This is sure to be a very exciting game.
Game 5: Portland Chinooks 124 win over Tacoma Thunder 104. In front of an electrified opening night crowd of 500, the IBL 2005 season got under way with a bang. Tacoma had a very impressive opening night with the high scoring of Lamar Morina with 21 points, Dontay Harris and Josh Barnard both had 16 points each. Portland started their season off with a big win tonight; the Chinooks high scoring offense was led by Payton's 29 points and Byron Johnson with 24 points. Portland and Tacoma will have a lot of exciting games this season.
