3rd Annual Sarnia Sting Golf Classic July 19th

The Sarnia Sting will host the 3nd Annual Golf Classic in support of Pathways Health Centre for Children on July 19th at Sawmill Creek Golf Resort ( 3790 Lakeshore Road, Camlachie, ON N0N 1E0). Sting fans are invited to join Sting alumni, current players and hockey operations staff on July 19th for a 1:00pm shotgun start in support of a great local organization.
Past tournament participants include Travis Konecny (Philadelphia Flyers), Reid Boucher (Vancouver Canucks), Connor Murphy (Chicago Blackhawks), Michael Haley (Florida Panthers). Ryan Wilson, David Legwand, Derian Hatcher, & Brad Satubitz. 2018 tournament attendees will be released as attendance is confirmed.
Pathways Health Centre for Children is a family-centered community agency that serves Lambton County children and youth with physical, developmental and communication needs and their families, as well as adults for some specialized services. As one of a large group of Children's Treatment Centres in the province of Ontario, the Centre provides a continuum of rehabilitation and support services in the community as well as an on-site integrated child care service. Over the past two years the Sarnia Sting Golf Classic has raised nearly $4,000 for Pathways and will look to build upon that July 19th. "We are very pleased that the Sarnia Sting Hockey Club has embraced the opportunity to partner with Pathways both in the centre and out in the community. We cannot thank them enough for their generosity of volunteer hours, mentorship and financial support." Says Tracey Drysdale Fund Development & Community Engagement Officer at Pathways Sarnia-Lambton.
Registration for the tournament is $500 per foursome which includes 18 holes of golf with cart, and dinner following the round. Each foursome will also include a current Sting player or alumni in their grouping. Individual golfers interested in participating can register for $150 per. Hole sponsorship is also available for local business owners who would like to get involved.
