2022 Preseason Schedule Is Here

January 26, 2022 - United Soccer League Championship (USL) - New Mexico United News Release

New Mexico United today announced their 2022 preseason schedule, consisting of five matches against USL Championship, USL League 1, and MLS opposition over one month of action. The preseason will conclude on Match 5th, as United play host to Northern Colorado Hailstorm FC, an exciting new club from USL League 1. That match will take place at United' Mesa del Sol training facility and will be open to a limited number of fans. Tickets for that match will be made available in the coming days.

United's preseason will kick off at 3 PM MST on February 5th in San Diego, as they take on Landon Donovan's San Diego Loyal - a club United will see twice in the 2022 USL Championship regular season. Up next will be a February 9th tilt against MLS opponent Vancouver Whitecaps FC - a playoff club in 2021, and 2015 Canadian Cup winner. That match kicks off at 2 PM MST, and will also take place in San Diego. United's third preseason match - happening in the same locale - will be against reigning USL Championship title-winners Orange County SC on February 12th at 12 PM MST.

Following the preseason swing in San Diego, United will travel to El Paso to take on rivals El Paso Locomotive FC. Locomotive - like United - is entering their first season under a new head coach. This match will kick off at 2 PM MST. United will round out the regular season with the aforementioned home match against Northern Colorado Hailstorm FC. Kick-off is slated for 12 PM MST.

United's 2022 USL Championship regular season campaign kicks off on March 13th against Las Vegas Lights FC. Season tickets and multi-game packages can be purchased now at tickets.newmexicoutd.com.
