2020 Round Rock Classic Kicks off Friday Night at Dell Diamond

ROUND ROCK, Texas - The Round Rock Express, in conjunction with Peak Events, are proud to host the inaugural Round Rock Classic at Dell Diamond from February 21-23, 2020. The three-day college tournament features the Houston Cougars (1-2), #25 Stanford Cardinal (1-3), Tennessee Volunteers (4-0) and #6 Texas Tech Red Raiders (4-0).

The Round Rock Classic takes place on the second weekend of the season and replicates the already established Frisco College Baseball Classic, which takes place in Frisco, Texas on the third weekend. The event will host four Division-I teams competing in a round-robin format over three days. Each team will play a single game each day for a weekend total of three games.

A full schedule for the Round Rock Classic is as follows (rankings according to D1Baseball.com):

Friday, February 21

3:00 p.m. - Game 1: #25 Stanford vs. Houston

7:00 p.m. - Game 2: #6 Texas Tech vs. Tennessee

Saturday, February 22

2:00 p.m. - Game 3: Tennessee vs. Houston

6:00 p.m. - Game 4: #25 Stanford vs. #6 Texas Tech

Sunday, February 23

11:00 a.m. - Game 5: Tennessee vs. #25 Stanford

3:00 p.m. - Game 6: Houston vs. #6 Texas Tech

Like the Frisco Classic, the Round Rock Classic will provide a regional-like atmosphere during the second weekend of the college baseball season.
