2011 Midwest League Playoff Tickets Now on Sale

GENEVA, IL - The Kane County Cougars have announced that 2011 Midwest League Playoff tickets are now on sale to the general public. Fans can purchase tickets for any one of six potential postseason games as the Cougars aim for their 13th playoff appearance in 21 years. Fans, who can order tickets at kccougars.com or by calling (630) 232-8811, will be credited towards 2012 regular season tickets or receive a refund for playoff games which are not played.
With 21 games remaining in the regular season, the Cougars hold a three-game lead over Clinton for the Western Division's top second half playoff spot and a six-game lead over Beloit for the second half wild card berth.
If the Cougars clinch a second half playoff spot, Kane County would host Game 1 of the Western Division Quarterfinal round on Wednesday, September 7 at 6 p.m. Games 2 and 3 (if necessary) would be played on the road. In the second round of the playoffs, the team with the best overall record of the remaining Western Division teams will have the option to host Game 1 or Game 2 and, if necessary, Game 3.
