1490 WBAE -AM “The Bay” Sea Dogs new flagship radio station

Portland, Maine- The Portland Sea Dogs have selected 1490 WBAE -AM “The Bay” to serve as the new flagship station for the US Cellular Sea Dogs Radio Network for the 2005 season. All 142 regular season Portland Sea Dogs games will be broadcast on WBAE along with the 2005 Hannaford Eastern League All-Star Game and all Sea Dogs post-season action, if applicable.

1490 “The Bay” will serve as the flagship station for the US Cellular Sea Dogs Radio Network which currently consists of seven stations creating one of the larger radio networks in the league. In addition to WBAE 1490-AM (Portland) Sea Dogs broadcasts can be heard on WKTQ 1450-AM (South Paris/Norway), WOXO 92.7-FM (Norway), WTBM 100.7-FM (Mexico), WTME 780-AM (Rumford), WPHX 1220-AM (Sanford) and WMEX 106.5 (Rochester, NH). All games can also be heard worldwide via the internet on either www.seadogs.com or www.sportsjuice.com. Additional radio stations are expected to join the US Cellular Sea Dogs Radio Network prior to Opening Day.

WBAE featuring the Music of Your Life from the 40Â’s, 50Â’s and 60Â’s is owned and operated by the Portland Radio Group, which also includes WGAN, WPOR, WMGX, WYNZ, WZAN and WVAE

Todd Jamison returns for his fourth season as the Voice of the Portland Sea Dogs calling all the action on the US Cellular Sea Dogs Radio Network.

The Sea Dogs open the 2005 season at home on Thursday, April 7th at 6:00 PM against the Norwich Navigators (Giants). Tickets for Opening Day, the 2005 Hannaford Eastern League All-Star Game (July 13), and all regular season home games are currently on sale.
