Lawrenceville, GA - The Syracuse Chiefs fell, 1-0, to the Gwinnett Stripers Saturday night at Coolray Field after the game was called due to rain after just four and a half completed innings. The umpires asked for the tarp with a runner on second for Gwinnett and no-one out in the bottom of the fifth inning, and the game was officially called after an hour and two minute rain delay.
