So long as Dan Borislow isn't an owner, nobody will care.

Funny how this, 2 teams dismissed 3 or 4 weeks into the season, 2 years ago or maybe even 1 year ago, would have drawn dozens of responses...now just a couple of junkies. I am not sure exactly sure what that says about the PBL or the state of affairs overall, because i have not a clue about the details, but I am convinced the douchebag(s) have something to do with it. :) I just hope the team i follow can find more stability in its new home.

The fact that these two are gone and the Chicago Muscle remains shows me how F'd up this PBL is...

Once again this equation rings true: ABA + cash - surplus teams = PBL
Proud to be a veteran of these boards for the last 5 years...

With the exception of the Razorsharks and possibly the Drive, I doubt any of these current teams have money either. Games are being played without stats, fans or sponsors. This league managed to alienate any teams that could have given a bad league some credibility. Now there is this laughable mess that's even worse than year's past. Not much different from the ABA except that Joe Newman is profitable where Sev loses boatloads of money. I suppose the PBL takes itself a bit more seriously, but hey.

Where was the 'due dilligence"? Why were these teams allowed to start? Where is their letter of credit??? There will be more teams folding up their tents before this miserable season is over.

Imagine that. Oh well I will continue to follow so can see the Sharks win again. GO CAVS Crazy! Still wish the team was here instead of in Canada.

Old enough to remember when bashing the ABA was fun.

I got that via Sauk Valleys site, a team that also appears to have sponsers and fans. But thats just one.

So.. Magic 8-Ball says... "My reply is no".

A shame. For all the hyperbole and obvious bias, there was some good information to be found in a1's posts (at times).

Instead, Dr. Sev's Vanity Basketball League marches on. I wonder how many teams they are propping up -- and why they decided not to finance these two. Guess we'll never know.

ETA: The revised schedule was supposed to be released tonight -- well, I guess their webmaster doesn't work late... :) as there is no schedule, 90 minutes after the scheduled release.
