Coach - I was at the game in Elkhart, and while your team played well that night.....you didn't see the typical Express team. Trust me, the team that shows up in Bellingham won't be the same Express that you faced.

Don't over-estimate home court advantage or underestimate the Express Nation. There are some Elkhart fans planning to travel to Washington - they'll make their presence known. It's just a shame there can't be a playoff series so more fans of both teams can see their favorites going for the title.

The Express players had some time off and are back to practice. They will be healthy and ready. I've seen film of Bellingham, so now I can say without bias - it'll be a three-peat for Elkhart.

Are you just trying to give Bellingham something to put up in the locker room?! Is Chris gonna be back for the game?

Last I heard he was expected back. Last game was yesterday, so he'll have time to get back into Express rhythm.

Great locker room quote
I wasn't the one said they'd win because of the home-court advantage - I'm just sayin' it's probably not the advantage others think it is. May be something for hanging on the entrance to get the fans riled up, though. But isn't that why they have the music going the whole game?

I'm not an Express fan, but it's no contest. The Express will win. If the Steelheads were around, then it still wouldn't be a contest. The Steelheads would win. Sigh! The best of the East vs. the best of the West is no contest.

I'm not an Express fan,
But you should be! It should be an easy switch since the IBL Steelheads have the same colors as the Express - just cheer for the gold/blue. The difference in courtside ticket prices will make up for the gas $ (well, most of it anyways). You just have to learn to drink your Coke plain instead of enhanced. :-)

I think Bellingham posted that great locker room quote.

 :(

I followed the game online (Thank you, Bellingham!) but really missed the excitement of being at a game. What was the atmosphere like? Full house? Were the fans active or just sitting on their hands until the end? Strong defense by Bellingham or did Elkhart do themselves in?
