Did you notice the "OurSportsCentral" logo on the right?

You're right, the page is an absolute mess.
I don't have a blog, but I'm mean spirited.

They're certainly going another direction with their website now. Interesting theme.

The links are still all messed up though.

If you click on the busty girl with a book (which is about as close to a dictionary as you will see on the Gwizzlies site) under the heading SPECIAL EVENTS you go to Mcdonalds website....................unless eating at Mcdonalds is considered a SPECIAL EVENT

but OSC has had the logo removed. However you can still get back here, just click on the girl in the blue bikini on the left of the page, that'll get you back to OSC.

That is fan friendly, affordable entertainment for the entire family!

Mom and the kids get to watch a "great" basketball game...

While Dad can go in to the private room and get a "private dance!"

Although it could get a bit pricey if dad gets out of control with the dollar bills!

That one girl not only looks like she is getting mail stuffed into her cleavage...
but is probably the only person associated with the Gwizz to actually have
had an ABA basketball in her hand this season as well.... :-D

Macon, GA -- The Georgia Gwizzlies will be making team history when it conducts its Open Tryout on October 25th. Both men and women will be invited to tryout. The Gwizzlies tryout at Memorial Park Basketball Gym will host the event from 10-4 pm.

"With the success of the WNBA, I think someday a woman will suit up on an NBA uniform," said Embry Malone, Gwizzlies owner. "And in the NBA, they don't pay the big money just to suit up. You have to be able to play."

Malone, a veteran GM and head coach, really believes that there are several talented women who could compete in the NBA if given a chance. "I watched Becky Hammon play this weekend against the Washington Mystics. She can play," said Malone. "We'd like her to tryout in October, as an example."
On an NBA uniform, not in one? Is that what the "Georgia Gone Wild" will be about??

"And in the NBA, they don't pay the big money just to suit up. You have to be able to play" As opposed to the ABA where you just suit up.

Honored to have been the 13th player for the Vermont Frost Heaves game on 2-16-07 against the Maryland Nighthawks.

The ABA is the basketball equivalent of Amp'd Mobile.

Okay...I give up. When was the first playoff run??? Oh...That's right, Joe's
unseen and unwritten rule book derailed them last year. :(

When asked why the Georgia Gwizzlies and West Texas Whirlwinds dropped out of the playoffs Friday, hours before a scheduled postseason game:

The Georgia Gwizzlies and the West Texas Whirlwinds did not drop out of the playoffs today. To be eligible for the ABA playoffs, a player had to have played at least 3 regular season games with the team. West Texas was on their way to Macon when we found that neither team had a complete roster with players who had played at least 3 regular season games and the league advised them that they were playoff ineligible.

Not nit-picking here, but with no stats or roster updates in the league office/
basement. How does anyone really know who played, any number of games
with each team?

That's true, there doesn't appear to be any roster tracking at all. Plus, the statement that Georgia did not have enough playoff-eligible players simply isn't true. Neither of these teams should have been playoff eligible based upon their records, but Georgia had enough players who were playoff eligible.
