who are some of the american players playing in the all-star games?
Kevin Hamilton, Holy Cross University (BSN Under 23)
Walter Hodge, Univ. Of Florida (NCAA Puerto Rico)
Ryan Abraham, Appalachian State (NCAA Puerto Rico)
Matt Frieje, Ponce (NBDL, ABA)
Shawn Redhage, Caguas (Arizona State)
Lee Benson, (High School)
Ebi Ere, Carolina (Oklahoma)
Keenan Jourdon, (Boston College)
Tanoka Beard(Boise State)

Players like Marlyn Bryant and Uka Agabai were invited from what I was told but chose not to be part. More than likely is because he would like to spend time with his family.

Former NBA Player Tony Delk will be an Assistant during the all star game

Marlyn Bryant (Great Falls Explorers, CBA)is now in and Shawn Redhage is as he wants to rest his left calf mussle. So Marlyn is now in and Redhage is out although he will be at the Game on Saturday.

The Island All Star team beats the Metro team 98-84.

The MVP of the game was former Idaho Stampede center P.J. Ramos. Former Great Falls Explorer Marlyn Bryant scored 14 points with a very spectacular dunk. (Bryant has become of the most beloved players in Puerto Rico).

The NCAA vs BSN Under 23 game was a great game that went to double overtime with the BSN winning that game 113-110. This was actually the game that stole the entire all star extravaganza. Not only did the fans get to see the NCAA Puerto Rican players, but in general they got to see the future of the BSN and of the Puerto Rican National team.

University of Memphis forward Angel Garcia scored 26 points with 6 out 7 from the 3 point arc another player that impressed the National team and the BSN was the all around play of University of Florida's Walter Hodge Jr. who won 2 NCAA championships at Florida and will be entering his senior year.

In regards of the these two games. Both teams decided to play hard and with defense especially in the BSN Island vs Metro game. Where both teams applied zone defense, half court traps and even a full court press. Many of us fans of the BSN understand why the players do this during the all star game, its basically one of the auditions to the National Team and also they were playing for the winning team bonus.

In regards of the online stream the TUTV will be updating their servers just in time for the BSN Semi Finals. TUTV and Media Sports TV had over 100,000 log ons for today's all star game and during the regular season theres usually about 50-70 thousand people trying to get the same stream and the capacities will be improved and enlarged for everyone to enjoy.

The Attedance was decent but that was something that was going to be obvious since the City Of Fajardo is mostly a tourist resort town and a gateway to the Virgin Islands in the 25 years they have fielded a team they have never averaged over 1500 per game. Many wanted this game to be played at a City such as Ponce, San Juan, Bayamon or Caguas where in these arenas the All Star game has always been a sold out event.
