A league that believes it MUST stop the bleeding would have folded by now... presuming available intelligence in the front office.

Two leagues with some intelligence seeking to merge (assuming an easy path, which is anything but a good assumption here) would have merged by now.

(The earlier one acts, the more costs are avoided... that's why the above hold true IMO.)

So if these people are smart, they're getting ready for 08-09 and a season will exist. The problem is that I can't help but believe there's a lot of desperation around the CBA, since decisions in Montana need to be made right now. RIGHT NOW. Fish or cut bait.
