I read

another article, this in the Montana Standard, to see if I could learn anything further. In addition to Tuckman saying that Rick Turner will guide the team for the next month, it also says that h.c. Scott Wedman doubts that the team will show up. Whether or not the Explorers arrive or not, I'll be at Mellon Arena! I'll be very disappointed if there is no game.

CBA to Blame

Post by rider » Mon Jan 07, 2008 10:14 am

Why on earth would they have given this team to Tuckman? Where on earth is the so-called commisisioner ? Tuckman will simpy screw up the situation even more like he has many times before.

More information.

Says Butte's coaches aren't getting paid, either. Not really a surprise.

checks in the mail

Tuckman said he would fly back East this week to give the players their paychecks.
Well at least he didn't say the checks were in the mail.

to see what team the Xplosion play will show up. At least they will be wearing their own uniforms, unlike Oklahoma who had to borrow our old ones.

Typical Tuckman response. Fire everyone when they have the gall to complain they haven't been paid. rider, you are correct. The CBA never should have allowed this to happen. The man has a history.

So I'd rather spend a quarter of an ABA franchise to repair my car, as opposed to spending a franchise and a half to get a new car that might have some planned obsolescence that causes it to break down 5 days after the end of the warranty period.
