I also wonder if TASER international, Inc gave them permission to use their trademarked name (TASER ®). This from TASER internationals website – “The trademark "TASER" must always refer to a product marketed by TASER International, for example, a TASER electronic control device.”

Hey Paul - Maybe you should make a call to TASER International’s General Counsel (480-905-2018 or email to IP@TASER.com.) to verify that you may legally print a story about this new team's arrival. I suspect they may be very suprised to see that their trademarked name is being used as a name of an indoor football team.
