Florida Stingrays (Fort Myers) join AIFA
http://www.aifaprofootball.com/index.ph ... 4&Itemid=1
Colors: Garnet & gold (Like the Seminoles)
Ownership group: Jarrod Williams, Gary Vaughn and Sean Harrell
Venue: Lee Civic Center (Former home of the NIFL Tarpons)
Website: myspace.com/floridastingrays (Hopefully they'll do better by kickoff)
Question 1: Might the Stingrays ownership be connected to the Tarpons team in any way?
Question 2: How do they plan to compete with the Firecats?
Question 3: Will Malepig, the af2 Living Legend and Firecats fan, bother to buy season tickets?

1) If the NIFL were even remotely legitimate, that Tarpons team would have challenged Fayetteville for the East; they had an awful lot of talent.
2) The NIFL team, on a $0 budget with a bunch of unpaid employees, drew over 1500 in their first (and only) home game there. I think there'd be a market if a team does it right.
3) If the team proves itself as legitimate, I am almost 100% certain Malepig would buy season seats.
