Post by Thuderbolt » Mon May 21, 2007 6:07 pm

From a division championship...unless of corse you consider the second round of the playoffs the division championship, In that case its 4 wins away.

Right now Mississippi and Tallahassee are tied for the division lead at 10-3...

Mississippi plays Erie and Tallahassee plays Baltimore...

The Mudcats hold the tiebreaker, whereas the Titans are less likely to choke...Both split the season series with the Bolts...

My guess is it'll be Mississippi, with them and Tallahassee winning, and the Bolts getting run over by the Speed...

The original post is correct. If the Thunderbolts win out they will be 11-2. If the Mudcats win their next game against Erie they will be 11-3. The Titans can finish 11-3 also if they win their game against Baltimore.

dont forget the gulf coast game dosent count, so lakeland is tops in the division. And lakeland getting run over by the speed? I think you have that backwards. The playoffs SHOULD be

Titans at MudCats
Speed at ThunderBolts

Gulf Coast games have been counting in the standings actually. They are an official league member.

T-Bolts Division Champs?

Post by eagle1 » Sat May 26, 2007 5:31 pm

Looks like the T-Bolts are division champs with their win over the speed. Correct me if I am wrong.

I believe we win the Division by the Tie breaker!

I believe even if we were to lose the game next week we would be in a 3 way tie with Mississippi and the Titans and then by the tie breaker rule of points beaten by we would win by having beaten both teams by many more points than either team beat us. I may be wrong but I think if you look in the rules you will find that I am correct. So in fact we have won the Division!
