What is the longest running indoor franchise? Have any teams lasted 5 years?

Correct me if I'm wrong. But, I believe that the River City Rage have been around in one form or another since back in the IPFL days.

If you are including the Arena Football League... I believe it would be the Orlando Predators.

If not, I'd be looking at teams like the QC Steamwheelers...

If you exclude AFL and AF2, then what about those flyover teams in UIF?

Rapid something or Sioux something?

Sorry. Not much of an answer.

If you're looking at just indoor football, I believe the Omaha Beef have everyone beat, at least playing in the same city with the same nickname.

Not including the AFL, the following teams have been in existence for five years or more (in one form or another), including present season:

River City Rage
Ohio Valley Greyhounds
Omaha Beef
Beaumont Drillers
Billings Outlaws
Souix City Bandits
Souix Falls Storm
Louisiana Swashbucklers
Alabama Steeldogs
Albany Conquest
Arkansas Twisters
Bakersfield Blitz
Bossier Battlewings
Florida Firecats
Louisville Fire
Manchester Wolves
Quad City Steemwheelers
South Georgia Wildcats
Tennessee Valley Vipers
Tulsa Talons
Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Pioneers
Wyoming Cavalry

That's all I've found so far. I'm sure I missed a few.

If you want to include af2, since it is also minor league, Alabama Steeldogs, Arkansas Twisters, QC Steemwheelers, Tulsa Talons, all began play in 2000.

By the way, here's where I'm getting my info:

Seems to be quite comprehensive.
