CFL on US Television

Post by allvol » Tue Jun 01, 2004 3:30 pm

Has anyone heard if the CFL will be broadcast in the US :? : Two years ago it was broadscast on Americaone and last year they were shown on TFN (the football network). There is actually a company set up to market the CFL in the US called CFL+USA.

The Grey Cup was shown free on DirecTV last year too. :D

Well, I hope someone does at least carry the Grey Cup. Watching the Championship game would be better then nothing.

I was flipping through the sports channels on DirecTV and I saw that NESN will carry tonight's Ottawa vs. Winnipeg game @ 9pm.
After seeing this pulled up the NESN web page. They are planning to show the following games as well this month:
Sat. June 19th Hamilton vs. B.C. Delayed @ 7pm.
Thur. June 24 Toronto vs. Ottawa @ 7:30pm.
Sat. June 26th Winnipeg vs. Hamilton Delayed @ 7pm.

Fox Sports net has aired some replays of games over the years. When a lot of snow birds are in Florida, Sunshine network shows replays from the previous days.
