Baltimore Mariners?

Post by NTE » Thu Sep 11, 2014 7:46 pm

If they are coming back in 2015, where will they play? I heard they couldn't pay the bill to play in the 1st Mariner arena last year and cancelled the last two home games, so I can't imagine where they will play.

They've been removed from the AIF website, so X-League or not at all is what I'd have to guess.

I'm not sure what's behind this but it may be a venue issue more than a league preference issue.

Oh yea, I wasn't trying to say that it was a league preference, I was just trying to state where they might play since they are no longer in the AIF.

Also, based on the way they list the standings on the league website, it looks like there will be a divisional lineup for this season.

That sucks. But I was pissed at them anyways, I went to one game last year. But then I went to a 2nd game and it was cancelled! Just a piece of paper taped to the door, "Game Cancelled"! Not even announced on the website or the Facebook page! It was fun while it lasted, 2007-2010! But the last team, 2014, that league was BS, 5-6 game schedules, some teams only play one or two games total. This league is crap. I wish Bmore had an indoor football team, there's a market for it, but unfortunately AIF is garbage!

^^I'd blame the owners more than I'd blame the league.
