Why would you say the York Capitals are fake? They played last season?

Oh wow. I was mildly intrigued about the return of the Baltimore Mariners. But after seeing this schedule, any f**ks i had quickly leaped to their death. This league is a sham.

The Mariners can't control their league but they can establish credibility with their own franchise. If the Harrisburg Stampede hadn't established themselves as credible in the AIF after all, they wouldn't have the chance to play next season in the PIFL.

The IIFL just announced that the Chicago Assassins and New York Wolves are back in that league.

The league you join often helps or hinders your team's credibility. No matter how many things you do right, the first time that "game canceled" sign pops up on the arena door, or that semi-pro outdoor team comes in with duct taped numbers and gets shellacked 102-0, you are toast.

Except that the Harrisburg Stampede did score a 100-0 victory in AIF play last season yet are clearly not toast. I grant that a triple digit win is a good reason to seek out better leagues but it was the credibility built up by the Stampede that allowed it to actually be accepted into a better league.
