Did you see Knoxville's jerseys last weekend?
I'm pretty sure the Nighthawks had worn their road whites every game so far (they definitely wore them at home when the Raiders visited) but they went all out to unveil their home colors on Friday:
Apparently it was for Tennessee Valley appreciation. I guess the checkerboards on the side panels could be a tribute to UT football but I don't get the sunset motif on the front and back. At any rate, it definitely gets my vote for the most...shall we say, unique...uniform in the PIFL so far.

I believe this was a one-time only for the Knoxville jersey, the team will have one other promo jersey during the season, the other four home games, it will be home whites for the Nighthawks. Normally, these special jerseys are auctioned off to the fans after the game. And yes, the orange was a tie in to the Big Orange of Tennessee, including the checkerboard gussets.
Below is the special Alabama Hammers jersey from the Knoxville vs. Alabama game played in Huntsville several weeks ago, the jersey commemorates the Rocket City. The jersey numerals are lunar surface outlined in yellow. These jerseys were auctioned off to the fans following the game.

I wanna see the Nighthawks have solid BLUE or GREEN jerseys...

Proud to be a veteran of these boards for the last 5 years...
Don't want to be a spoil sport but I'm
a traditional type guy and like the standard unies.
Don't care at all for the Race Car or Euro-Soccer look
that has 108 sponser logos on their jerseys.
Kinda cheapens the sport and the players to be walking billboards.
Don't like all the Pad-Ads in the arenas either. I know Erie
has an ad on every pad around the rug. I rather pay an extra $2
per game just to keep player name, logo - team and or city only
on unies.
Just me.
Orange and Blue not bad...
But Olive Drab below the numbers,
Oh! for yuk
The jersey was a sunset scene over the Smokey Mountains, the olive green you are seeing is the pine trees on the mountain side below the sunset, I saw the jersey in person today and it looked pretty good.
