The Exec committee works out good, but still need a "leader" for the day to day stuff which is quite a bit and not sure the owners are looking far enough a head on this.

I believe a commissioner was not hired as a cost savings measure.

All I'm saying is that owners usually have other interests than just their teams and a league, any league, needs someone to watch over the day to day stuff. Leagues don't run without some kind of supervision.

I agree. PIFL is making a mistake not hiring a commissioner.
