But having these "affiliate member/travel teams" does give it a pro wrestling feel, lol. But I expect to give it a try and go see a Maryland Reapers game.
I eagerly await the day one of them is called the Brooklyn Brawlers.

Why is the Maryland "at" Carolina game listed for Tim's Toyota Center in Prescott, AZ? Do they really have the money to ship two Eastern teams out West for a game, or (the more likely option) is someone asleep at the wheel?

Oh, this gets better... the schedule is so unbalanced it's hilarious.

Harrisburg plays 4 of its 7 games against the travel teams (Virginia 2, Tri-State 2). Maryland plays 3 (all against T-S). Macon and Carolina each get 1 (Virginia), and Cape Fear doesn't play a travel team.

Care to guess which team will be the #1 seed in the AIF East playoffs, which would mean getting to play not only the conference playoff but AIF Championship games at home?

You expected differently?

In his defense, his team is the most likely to be still alive when that happens.
make sure you buy season tickets NTE. We all know how you feel about indoor football season tickets. Lol
I like indoor footbal as a spectacle, it's fun to watch up close. I wish we had a local AFL team, but we don't, so I will try to see a game at least this year, and hope it gets better. I went to 6 of the 9 home games in the Mariner's big championship season, so I'm a good fan for them. I didn't buy season tix, but I supported the team well, because I enjoy the game...I do wish it was more stable or we had a team in a stable league like the AFL, but it is what it is. The Reapers are playing in a 2000 seat ice rink! So we'll see how it is, I can't imagine why anyone would be a season ticket holder to this without waiting at least a year to see if it's legit?
The AIF has now released its complete East schedule. Virginia & Tri-State are listed as 'affiliate' teams, playing four or five games each, all on the road. Maryland, Macon, Harrisburg, Cape Fear & Carolina will play full seven game schedules.

What is an "affiliate" team? Just another scam perpetrated by John Morris. First an all star game in Cancun, how about a time share selling trip. Now affiliate teams, have they paid the same league dues as other teams or are they the filler because nobody would buy Morris's crap. If I was a franchise paying id be pissed if they were getting a free ride and either your in the league or not. The NJ Revs tried this crap playing an independent schedule against four semi-pro outdoor teams. Nobody bought into that and all they did was piss off fans and sponsors. How do they count in the playoff picture. Will they be punching bags for teams to run up the score on, especially george washington Morris's harrisburg team. The schedule is a joke, the league is a joke and in the end this venture will fail like his two, count them, two other attempts. Paying for the all star game air fair alone, as advertised, will break this league . I can bet we will be reading some excuse in the future how they had to cancel this game. Again, a frikin joke all they way around, starting at the top.
