ABA READY TO DEVELOP TWO NEW DIVISIONS

Indianapolis, IN. The American Basketball Association (ABA) http://www.abalive.com today announced that it is ready and eager to develop two new divisions for next season. “Currently we have eight very strong divisions and our expansion already for next season is awesome,” stated Joe Newman, ABA CEO. “However, there are a couple of sections of the country that are underdeveloped and we do want to add teams to help make travel easier. For example, we have an excellent team in Aberdeen SD (Aberdeen Attack), but travel is difficult for them. If we could add teams in South Dakota, Minnesota, North Dakota, Iowa and Nebraska, we could create a good division. The same holds true for New England. We have a strong team in New Haven CT (Connecticut Topballerz) which plays in the NE Division, but we would really like to add teams in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont and upstate New York
The ABA is the largest professional sports league in the US and also the most diversified professional sports league ever with 70% of its teams owned by African-Americans, Hispanics, Asians and women. “Inclusion is part of the fabric of the ABA,” stated Newman. “We believe we have the best ownership group ever assembled in professional sports. It is easier to own and operate an ABA team than any other when the ABA business model is followed and these things have helped contribute to the phenomenal growth of the league.”

Pretty sure you can rule out Vermont and New Hampshire. Even if the Frost Heaves were to make a comeback, I would never want them in this 'league' again.

Honored to have been the 13th player for the Vermont Frost Heaves game on 2-16-07 against the Maryland Nighthawks.

The ABA is the basketball equivalent of Amp'd Mobile.

Why does Joe Newman keep lying?

Why do people keep believing him?
Old enough to remember when bashing the ABA was fun.

1. Because people keep believing him.

2. Because people don't learn from other people's mistakes -- many in the ABA hardly learn from their own mistakes, of course.

How can he expect any team to succeed - even ones "following his plan" - if he can't even get a team to make it in basketball-crazy Indianapolis?

What you guys are overlooking is when teams fail, it is opportunity ... Some markets have given 10k times five different versions. If there is a success, that is only 10k times one version for that particular market. Do the math, when teams fail, Newman makes more $$! ;)

Well the good news is Joes health scare as reported on the Jacksonville giants Facebook page is clearly over and done with........his doctor obviously gave him a clean bill of health and told him to do what he loves. SELLING market reservations

Now, sadly, Joes geographically challenged mind must not realize that New Haven CT is a heck of a lot closer to NYC than it is to Mass, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine and upstate NY.

Of course if the Connecticut Topballerz owner is daft enough to invest in the ABA (s)he is probably going to jump at a New England division in a heartbeat.

Thank God they are staying out of Rhode Island too. This wacky little state has enough problems without an ABA team showing up. in fact the local government is run in an ABA style. We will be the first state to either declare bankruptcy, merge into another state or be put under some sort of court imposed financial administrators. It'll happen in 1-3 years. B. seriously, Little Rhody will be a District or designated Federal soon. It's all over from a financial standpoint here

Due to numerous threats of legal action from certain people.......all of the above is my opinion only and it should be noted that I have never invested in the ABA. It is simply one mans opinion.

Rhode Island could foldspend like so many faux ABA teams. Heard Massachusetts is looking for tax revenue.
Dear Jack, We believe Joe Newman has a vision. As opposed to blogging his mission negatively why don't you offer suggestions of support and help. We did, Regards Roland Rodgers CEO BSN LLC
